Wildcat Weekly Update-Week of December 1st

Good Afternoon Wildcat Families,

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  All students should return to school from the Thanksgiving break tomorrow.

It is critical that all students are on time and present for school.  Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.

We have our PTO Roll-A-Bout Skate Night on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6-8pm.  Half of all paid admissions go back to support the PTO.  Admission for skaters and non skaters is $5.00 cash.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  All skaters must adhere to the Roll-A-Bout Skating Center dress code.

Fourth and fifth grade students will go on their Elon Education day field trip on Wednesday, December 4th.

Progress reports come home on Wednesday, December 4th.

On Friday, December 6th the Colgate Van will be visiting from 8:30 to 1pm.  Nurse Johnson has asked for volunteers to ensure that everyone gets a chance to go to the van.  Volunteers will help navigate the students to and from the van and make sure things run smoothly.  Please review the available slots and click on the button to sign up.  If you are only available to come for part of the time, still sign up and note that in the comments.  You will need to sign in at the office and get a volunteer sticker when you arrive.

Looking ahead to the next few weeks:

The PTO Santa Shop will be held December 9th-13th.  Each day the shop will be open 8:15am-2:15pm. The PTO will need helpers to assist the students with shopping and to help wrap their gifts.  If you are unable to work the entire shift, please note the times available in the comments. Any help at any time is appreciated.
