Wildcat Weekly Update-Week of September 29th

Good Evening Wildcat Families,

This week we have our Backpack Fall Food Drive going on.  We need your help to fill the food pantry with kid friendly individually packed food.  You can send in items anytime through 1pm on Friday for your child’s class to get credit.  The class with the most points will win an ice-cream party.

Monday is Macaroni Monday.  Please bring in boxes of macaroni  and cheese or Easy Mac.

Tuesday is Souper Tuesday.  Please bring in cans or containers of chicken noodle soup.

Wednesday is Wake Up Wednesday.  Please bring in instant oatmeal or grits.

Thursday is Tasty Thursday.  Please bring in any variety of Chef Boyardee.

Friday is Fund us Friday.  Donations of cash or checks can be made to Low’s Lutheran Church, with backpack program in the memo section.

Friday, October 4th is our PTO movie night.   The winner of the movie night voting is Inside Out 2.  Gates will open at 6:30pm and the movie will begin at 7:30pm.  Staff and student admission is free and all others are $2 cash only.  There will be concessions available, cash only.  Pelican Snow Cones, Sugar Cloud, and Honor Roll Hot Dogs will also be on site.  If you would like to volunteer to help with PTO Movie Night  please use the link below to sign up.

It is critical that all students are on time and present for school.  Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.

Please remember all students should utilize the car line in the morning and practice walking in on their own.  Students can be dropped off after 7:20.    Please be sure your child is ready and prepared to unload in the morning and that they unload from the passenger side.  All students should be in class by 7:50.  If you enter the line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.

We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon.  If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm.  If you are picking up your child prior to car rider dismissal please do so by 2pm. Remember early check outs are considered a tardy.

For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.  We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application.  Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year.    You can complete the free and reduced lunch application  online at   https://www.lunchapplication.com/

You can pay your child’s lunch balance  online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/
