Good Evening Wildcat Families,
This week we have a full week of school. It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Remember if your child is out you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website.
Please remember all students should utilize the car line in the morning and practice walking in on their own. We will have staff stationed around the school to assist students with getting to their classrooms.
Students not enrolled in the before school program can be dropped off after 7:20. Please be sure your child is ready and prepared to unload in the morning and that they unload from the passenger side. All students should be in class by 7:50. If you enter the line after this time, you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.
We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon. If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line, please make sure you have your car tag displayed. If you need a tag please call the front office.
On Thursday, September 12th our third grade students will take the third grade beginning of grade reading test.
Last week we kicked off our school wide fundraiser for this year. The funds that are raised will go toward our playground equipment fund and purchasing instructional materials that benefit all of our students and classrooms.
For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.
We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application. Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year. You can complete the free and reduced lunch application online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/
You can pay your child’s lunch balance online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/
As a reminder, you can find the breakfast and lunch menu at https://abss.nutrislice.com/menu/em-holt-elementary
We are also including the link to the District’s Code of Conduct here. While you may be familiar with our school handbook that is posted online on our website, we also wanted to make sure you had access to the District’s Code of Conduct that guides our decisions with consequences. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our administrative team.
