We are looking forward to seeing all of our E.M. Holt Wildcats on Monday, August 26th for the first day of school! Please remember the morning program opens at 6:45 a.m. and dismisses children to their classrooms or breakfast at 7:30 am. Students not enrolled in the before school program may arrive after 7:20a.m. and wait in the pit area. Please keep the left lane open prior to 7:20 for our morning care families.
We will begin double lanes of traffic at 7:20. Our E.M. Holt staff will begin unloading car riders in the car rider line beginning at 7:20. All students should be in their classroom by 7:50 a.m. We encourage all students to utilize the car rider line. If you are planning to walk your child into school on the first day you will need to come through the car rider line to access the parking lot.
Parents in an effort to make our car rider line go smoothly in the mornings, please make sure that your child is ready with their bookbag in hand and ready to exit the car from the passenger side when you pull up to the cone. For safety reasons, all students should unload from the passenger side. Please do not go around other cars that are unloading and drive carefully through the parking lot.
In the afternoons, traffic that enters prior to 2:00 will be asked to remain in the right lane to allow through traffic on the left. Beginning at 2pm it will be double lanes. In the afternoons, students will be dismissed at 2:35. Please be sure that you display your car rider tag and if you need a car rider tag, let our staff know.
