Good Evening Wildcat Families,
Thank you to everyone for the wishes of appreciation last week during teacher and staff appreciation. Our staff surely felt loved. Thank you to everyone that came out last week to support our PTO for duty free lunch and Hometown Hero Day. Your help and support are appreciated.
Progress reports came home on Friday and this means we are just a few weeks away from the end of the school year. It is important that we finish the school year strong so please make sure your child is in class by 7:50.
As the weather gets warmer please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for school. Shorts, skirts and skorts must be longer than the longest finger of the hand when the hand is extended at the side while standing. Clothing must cover midriffs and chests.
Please continue to monitor your child’s lunch balance and pay off any outstanding balances at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/.
You can fill out the free and reduced lunch form online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/ to see if your child qualifies for a reduced amount.
If you are coming to eat lunch with your child please refrain from bringing in outside food for your child.
The Alamance-Burlington Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS). The board is seeking direct input from interested students, parents, other members of the community, and staff to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the characteristics, experience, and skills desired in the next ABSS superintendent.
Please take a few minutes to complete a brief community survey. All responses are anonymous. See below for links to the survey in English and Spanish. Links to the survey are also available on the homepage of the ABSS website: https://www.abss.k12.nc.us/
