Good Evening Wildcat Families,
We are now into the last nine weeks of the school year and we are working on reaching our attendance goal of 95%. Remember it is important for all students to be at school and in class by 7:50.
As the weather gets warmer please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for school. Shorts, skirts and skorts must be longer than the longest finger of the hand when the hand is extended at the side while standing. Clothing must cover midriffs and chests.
This week our third through fifth grade students have check-in testing.
On Monday, April 29th we have math check-in testing.
On Tuesday, April 30th we have reading check-in testing.
On Tuesday evening we have our E.M. Holt PTO Skate Night at Roll-A-Bout Skating Center in Burlington from 6-8pm. The cost of admission for skaters and non-skaters is $5 cash. Half of all paid admissions goes back to benefit our PTO. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend.
On Thursday, May 2nd fifth grade students will complete science check-in testing.
PTO Movie Night is coming up on Friday, May 3rd. All E.M. Holt students and staff get in free. The cost of admission for all others is $2. They will be showing The Super Mario Bros movie. Gates will open at 7:30 and the movie will begin at 8:30. Kona Ice and Carolina Sugar Clouds will be there as well as our very own Second Grade Wildcat Alex Lemonade Stand to help fight childhood cancers. We hope you will plan to come out and join us for the last movie night of the school year.
