Wildcat Weekly Update Week of April 14th

Good Evening Wildcat Families,

Last Wednesday report cards were emailed to parents to the email address on file.  Please be sure to continue to monitor your child’s progress.

We are now into the last nine weeks of the school year and we are working on reaching our attendance goal of 95%. Remember all students should be in class by 7:50.

April is Autism Awareness so please join us in showing your support by wearing blue each Wednesday in April.

Wednesday, April 17th we have our third nine weeks awards program.

9:00-9:30 First Grade

9:30-10:15 Fourth Grade

10:15-10:35 Kindergarten

10:45-11:15 Second Grade

11:15-12:00 Fifth Grade

12:30-1:00 Third Grade

We are looking forward to our E.M. Holt Field Day on Friday, April 19th.   Remember students should wear tennis shoes, apply sunscreen at home prior to coming to school and each student should bring a water bottle labeled with their name.  Parents that are planning to attend should check in at the table by the track area to get a wristband.

3rd-5th will be from  9-11am.

K-2nd will be from  12-2pm.

We are watching the forecast and hoping for good weather on Friday. We will communicate any field day changes if there is a chance for rain.

Please be sure to monitor your child’s lunch balance and pay off any outstanding balances. You can fill out the free and reduced lunch form online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/  to see if your child qualifies for a reduced amount.

We have a limited number of yearbooks remaining for sale.  You can purchase them online at yearbookforever.com

Looking ahead to next week:

We will have our Kindergarten Open House for incoming kindergarten students on Thursday, April 25th from 4-6pm.

These are all of our updates and reminders for this week.  We thank you for your continued support and have a good night.
