Wildcat Weekly Updates-Week of March 10th

Good Evening Wildcat Families,

Many thanks to Mrs. Kutzer for her planning of our Read Across America events last week.  Everyone had a great time!

Congratulations to Nolan Stutts, Grace Rich, Jurney Phifer, Jack DeGain,  and Aubree Jowers for their performance yesterday at the Elementary All County Chorus Concert.  Many thanks to Ms. Maggiore for preparing our students and making it a wonderful experience.  We are so proud of them.

Fifth grade students will complete their science check in testing on Monday.

On Thursday, fourth and fifth grade students will be attending the NC Symphony field trip at Williams High School.

The end of the nine weeks is quickly approaching on March 28th so please be sure to monitor your child's progress, and make sure your child is on time and in attendance for school. Remember if you pull into the school driveway after 7:50 your child is considered tardy and you need to come inside to sign in your child.

We are working hard as a school to reach our attendance goal of 95%.

Please use the absentee note button on our school website to submit a note any time that your child is absent.  You should upload the excuse note within three days of your child’s absence.

Please be sure to monitor your child’s lunch balance and pay off any outstanding balances. You can fill out the free and reduced lunch form online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/  to see if your child qualifies for a reduced amount.

Looking ahead:

Spring and group pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 26th.

These are all of our updates and reminders for this week.  We thank you for your continued support and have a good night.
