Wildcat Weekly Update-Week of February 18th

Congratulations to Gunner Martin and Maggie Tyree.  They participated in the regional science fair on Saturday.  Maggie earned Honorable Mention and Gunner earned Exemplary.  We are very proud of both of them.  Gunner will continue to continue on to the science fair at the state level.

The midpoint of the  third nine weeks is quickly approaching on  February 23rd. Progress reports will come home on Friday.   Please make sure you are monitoring your child's progress, and making sure your child is on time and in attendance for school.  We are working hard as a school to reach our attendance goal of 95%.

If your child is sick with a fever, please remember that they have to be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.

Please use the absentee note button on our school website to submit a note any time that your child is absent.  You should upload the excuse note within three days of your child’s absence.

Please be sure to monitor your child’s lunch balance and pay off any outstanding balances. You can fill out the free and reduced lunch form online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/  to see if your child qualifies for a reduced amount.

If you are planning to purchase a yearbook for your child yearbooks are on sale at yearbookforever.com

Looking ahead:

We have Check In Testing the week of March 4th.

There is a teacher workday on Tuesday, March 5th.

ABSS will hold the Kindergarten Fair at Holly Hill Mall on Saturday, March 9th for any incoming kindergarten students for the 24-25 school year.

These are all of our updates and reminders for this week.  We thank you for your continued support and have a good night.
