Wildcat Weekly Update Week of January 21st

Please join me in congratulating our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Maggiore and our Classified Employee of the Year, Mrs. Toro.  We are thankful for their dedication to our school community.

Please remember that Monday, January 22nd and Tuesday, January 23rd are teacher workdays and there is no school for students.

All students should return to school on Wednesday, January 24th.

Report cards will be emailed to parents on Friday. We encourage all parents to make sure you are reviewing your child’s progress.

Attendance at school is very important. Please make sure you are doing your best to make sure your child is on time and in attendance for school. We are working hard as a school to reach our attendance goal of 95%.

If your child is sick with a fever, please remember that they have to be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.

We now have an absentee note link button on our school website for you to submit a note any time that your child is absent.  You should upload the excuse note within three days of your child’s absence.  Once you upload your note into the form it will go directly to Mrs. Bradshaw so that we can code the absence correctly.

Please be sure to monitor your child’s lunch balance and pay off any outstanding balances. If you are having difficulty paying your child’s lunch balance please be sure to fill out the free and reduced lunch form at https://www.lunchapplication.com/  to see if your child qualifies for a reduced amount.

Looking ahead to the next few weeks:

Please come out and join us at the ABSS Family University on Monday, January 29th from 5:30-7:30pm at Cummings High School.   This is a great time to learn how to help your child.   A light dinner will be provided from 5:30-6:00 pm.  Childcare will be provided for PK-5th grade level students.

We will have our second nine weeks awards program on Thursday, February 1st.

On Tuesday, February 6th we have our E.M. PTO Skate Night.
