Good Evening Wildcat Families,
We want to thank everyone for a great first day back at school. It was great having our students back in the building today. As we prepare for tomorrow I wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow we are on a regular schedule. The morning care program will open up at 6:45 for students that are enrolled in the morning program.
Our staff will begin unloading car riders at 7:20. Car riders should be ready with their bookbag in hand and ready to exit the car from the passenger side when you pull up to the cone. Please do not go around other cars that are unloading. All students should be in their classrooms by 7:50.
In the afternoons students are dismissed at 2:35. Please be sure to display your car rider tag as you come through the car line. Today we had a glitch with the numbers in our car rider system so please be sure to verify your car tag number with our staff at Open House.
This year our classrooms are using Scholastic magazine subscriptions to enhance instruction in the classroom. The cost for the Scholastic magazine for kindergarten through second grade is $7 and the cost for third through fifth grade is $10. You can pay for your child’s magazine subscription in person at Open House or you can access the online payment portal under the parent tab on the website.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Open House tomorrow evening from 4-6pm. This is a great time to come out and meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, pick up your car rider tag and even join our wonderful E.M. Holt PTO. Kona Ice will also be on site for Open House. Kindergarten families please plan to bring your child's school supplies to Open House.
