Congratulations to Mrs. Day and her students for their work with the backpack food drive this weekend. They filled three vehicles with donations of food to support our backpack program. Many thanks to everyone that came out to support their efforts.
The end of the third nine weeks is Thursday, March 30th. It is important for all students to be on time and in attendance for school. Please remember all students are expected to be in class by 7:50. Students that arrive in the classroom after 7:50 are considered tardy.
Monday, March 27th is the last day to turn in spring dance permission slips and payments. The cost for the dance is $5 per student. All past due lunch balances should be cleared up before signing up to participate in the dance.
On Monday, evening there will be a PTO member meeting in the media center from 6-7pm.
On Wednesday March 29th the National Theatre for Children will be presenting the Eco-Guardian program on energy conservation for all students.
We will have spring and group pictures on Thursday, March 30th.
We are looking forward to the Spring Dance on Thursday, March 30th. Please remember the dance is directly after school, so it is a casual dance. All clothing should be school appropriate and students should wear tennis shoes as it is in the gym. The dance will end at 4:30 and students will dismiss directly from the pit area. We will follow our normal traffic pattern for car rider dismissal for the dance. Students that typically attend the Explorer program can go to afterschool after the dance.
On Friday, March 31st there is a teacher workday and there is no school for students.

As we look ahead to the next few weeks, please remember that on Monday, April 3rd ABSS will be hosting Family University for all PK through 12th grade families. It will be held at Cummings High School from 5:30-7:30pm and a light dinner and childcare will be provided for PK-5th grade students.
Spring break is April 7th-April 16th.
As we plan for the 2023-2024 school year we need you to update your child's transportation information in Powerschool by May 1st in order for your child to have bus transportation on the first day of school.
