🌟First grade had so much fun learning about community helpers and their importance in the community 🚒🚔👮♀️👩⚕️👩🏼🏫. In keeping with their learning, they met community helpers in their classroom and had the opportunity to dress like one 👩⚕️👮♀️. These lessons were closely aligned with reading, social studies and global learning 📚🌎 🎉 Learning always becomes a reality at Elon Elementary! We loved seeing all our little community helpers ❤️!

Due to the ABSS budget issues, we are having to make some adjustments to our school budget. Due to this challenging situation, we are asking for family support in purchasing student school supplies for the upcoming year. PTO and our school are making efforts to engage the community through supply drives to help reduce the financial burden. If you are a family needing assistance, please contact our main office.

She is an incredibly kind, hard-working teacher who brings so much enthusiasm to celebrating her students' achievements. Did we say she was surprised? It was a BIG reveal and many tears were shed.

📚Book Vending Machine Fun🌟🎉🙌🏼. Students work hard to earn their gold coin. This gold coin allows students to pick a book of the book vending machine! 🤩It's been such fun!!! A huge shout out to ELON PTO for ensuring that there are always the best books for the kids! ❤️
