EAHS is sponsoring a Financial Aid Night on October 10th and seniors will be participating in College Application Week October 17th-21st. The list of schools waiving application fees during this week is attached also.
Why is this important to our students? The majority of our seniors plan to attend an institute of higher learning after they graduate from Eastern. Last year, 39% of our seniors planned to attend ACC or another community college and 31% planned to attend a 4 year institution.
Even students who plan to go straight into the workforce can benefit from training or certificate programs. Higher Education after high school can look different for different students- the biggest thing is that students understand education and training after high school leads to better careers and more money...hopefully.
