Good afternoon Eagle Families,
This is Principal Suzanne Simpson with your weekly updates. Tomorrow we begin state testing including Math 1, Math 3, Biology and English 2 EOCs and CTE testing. This is the spring exam schedule. HERE is the spreadsheet with your testing locations for the week. Please pay special attention to the date of which your exam will take place, especially if you have multiple exams. Also, make sure to switch tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to see all of the test types. If you have questions, please reach out.
Students are not allowed to check out during the testing session. We anticipate that the testing will conclude around 1:00 on Monday and 12:00 on Tuesday. We will be running buses at approximately 1:00 on Monday and Tuesday.
Seniors
The first time you can pick up graduation tickets is tomorrow from 2-4 in the main office lobby. After tomorrow you can pick them up during regular school hours. All school related items (books, chromebooks,, etc.) must be returned and any outstanding fine/fees paid before you can pick up graduation tickets. Please be mindful it may take 30 mins to an hour after you turn in your chromebook and charger to be cleared on the master list.
Underclassmen Leaving Eastern
Please return your chromebook and charger to the library as soon as you are finished with all exams including EOCs.
Underclassmen returning to Eastern Next School Year
Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders returning to Eastern next school year will not need to turn in their chromebooks and chargers. You are expected to return with your ABSS chromebook and charger next school year. ABSS will not give you an additional device.
I need your help. As our school year comes to an end, it is very important that all cafeteria balances are paid in full. Our school currently has a negative balance of $7000. Lunch balances need to be paid by the end of this week. You can add money to your child’s lunch account by sending cash or by paying online, by clicking the link below. Thank you in advance for ensuring that all balances are paid by this Friday.
