Each year, the teachers at each ABSS highschool choose two seniors to receive the Superintendent’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship, Citizenship, & Involvement. For school year 2023/2024 the EAHS winners are Bridgett Galicia and Vanessa Rivera-Romero. They are indeed both stellar Eagles!

Bridget Galicia - Bridget is a true servant leader. She looks for ways she can help our school and our community as she serves as an officer in the National Honor Society. She works hard at everything she does and understands the importance of education over grades (although her grades reflect her love of learning). Not to be too overly dramatic, but Bridget is symbolic of everything that is good and right in the world. Galicia for US President 2024!
Vanessa Rivera-Romero is a quintessential student. She has an incredible work ethic and pushes herself each day to grow stronger academically. Her grit and perseverance make her stand out amongst her peers. Additionally, she is a stellar leader. She takes on several leadership roles, such as Co-Captain of the Debate Team and NHS Officer. On the Debate Team, she has put great effort into training and supporting her new team members. Besides being quite involved at EA, Vanessa also serves her community through volunteer hours, whether it be volunteering at EM Yoder's Fall Festival or collecting coats or books for various drives.
