Earlier this week, the EAHS Envirothon teams competed.
Our teams are:
Sweet flowers: Daisy Castillo Isidro, Bridget Galicia, Lily Par, Vanessa Rivera Romero, and Dulce Velasquez-Arreaga.
The Evergreens: Adilene Diaz Dimas, Brighton Edwards, Anthony Salvatore, and Jazmine Smith.
Envirothon tests student’s knowledge of aquatics, wildlife, forestry, soils, conservation, and current environmental issues. Team Sweet Flower placed 6th overall and will move on to the states competition. Team Evergreens placed 9th and is on standby to compete at state if another team is forced to drop out.
