Today, Bonnie Hauser joined Mrs. Crouse’s Honors English Classes. Ms. Hauser is a speaker from the Center for Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education of NC. Her mother, Rebecca Yomtov Hauser, along with the entire Jewish community of Ioannina, Greece was rounded up and deported to Auschwitz in March 1944. Rebecca was the only member of her immediate family to survive. Ms. Hauser shares her mother's story with dozens of groups across NC each year. Today, we are honored to have her at EAHS. Thank you, Mrs. Crouse for bringing her to campus!
