The Alamance Artisans' Guild invited several advanced pottery students from EAHS to be the featured guests at their meeting. Professional artists shared their work and invited some of our Eagles to do the same. They also offered our students a chance to participate in the Alamance Arts Extravaganza next month, where they will have their own table with select pieces to sell. This gives students real life experience in how to price their work, creating a portfolio, exhibiting, and interacting with professional artists. Students also enjoyed a hands-on clay activity led by Jan Holloman, a local potter.
Members of Alamance Artists Guild also donated over 800 lbs of clay for our Eagles to use in class. Thank you!
