Good evening, Eagle Family!
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable long weekend! We have four short days before state exams begin on June 5th and just two days before teacher-made exams start on June 1st. Again, this is the time to remain focused on closing out the school year with a strong work ethic and commitment to academics.
Thank you to our Fine Arts Departments of Dance, Chorus, and Band which all gave outstanding performances over the past week. Also, congratulations to our Women’s Soccer Team who will continue their conference play tomorrow night at the Mebane Community Park at 6 pm. We hope you all will come out to cheer them on to victory!
Seniors, please review this presentation for more Senior Information including information about Graduation. Do not forget that May 31st at 10 am is our Graduation Practice and you must be in attendance to receive your tickets to Graduation. Those who plan to attend the Senior Walk must have their permission form submitted by tomorrow afternoon to the Main Office.
As exams approach, please review our Exam Schedule with your student. Students who are in Math 1 will have a morning review session on June 5th and students in Math 3 will have a review session the afternoon of June 5th; please encourage your student to attend for exam preparation and review.
This year all school-issued student devices will be turned into the school before students leave for the summer break; this includes their Chromebook and charger. Seniors will be able to turn in their devices on May 31st if they do not have any exams. On June 1st Seniors and Juniors will turn their devices in if they are done with all exams. Starting June 2nd all Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores who are done with all exams may turn their devices in to the library. From June 5th to June 9th, all students can turn in their devices; as students are dismissed from exams, please remind them if they are done with all exams to immediately return their Chromebook and charger to the library.
There is a Cheerleading Interest Meeting for those interested in trying out for Cheerleading for the 2023-2024 school year on May 31st at 6 pm in our Media Center.
