Today is our Mykonos spirit day for AWE! Part of the proceeds today (March 31st) will be donated towards our 100-Year Celebration event. You must present the printed flyer that came home with your child when you order for our school to receive credit. Thanks for supporting AWE!

Monday, our school will be visited by a local, award-winning author. Stephenie Wilson Peterson will be talking with your child's class about writing fiction. She'll also be reading from her books. Students attending the presentation have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the author's books. This can be done by visiting the following website: https://stepheniepeterson.com/event-sales Books must be purchased by 4/1. Any questions about ordering books can be directed to the author at stephie.peterson@live.com.

We apologize for the very early message. AWE will only be running 2 buses today. This will create delays. Bus 141 will pick up all of Olivers and Paisley. Bus 169 will also have significant delays. This will impact our PM route also. The Burlington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority presented 22 beautiful books to the Alexander Wilson Elementary library! 🦅 They will be an exciting addition to the collection. We also appreciate them taking the time to read aloud to our students. 📚 #ABSSCommunity
