The story of Ruby Bridges continues to inspire others to take a stand against racism and bullying. South Mebane Elementary students set an example by marching to school during the Ruby Bridges Walk to School event. They lead so others can follow. #StudentCenteredFutureFocused
Please bring in canned foods and nonperishable foods for our food drive to support local families. Each grade level has specific items to bring in. The grade level with the most donations will earn a prize!

She introduced herself, talked about how research is an important part of her writing process, and read her book aloud.
