Thank you for visiting the SMS PTSA website.

We trust this online resource will provide relevant information about our activities, events and upcoming volunteer opportunities to allow our families to get involved and to be actively engaged in the academic success of our teachers and our students.  To ensure that everyone has a voice, membership is granted to every SMS family.  

We do not collect membership dues but rather rely on your commitment to providing both financial support and investment of time throughout the year will help the PTSA meet and exceed the annual $10,000 budget.  This budget makes it possible to provide funding support to the school which directly benefits all students.  

The PTSA Board meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the SMS Media Center.  Meetings begin promptly at 6:00 PM.  As a general member, you are invited to join us as you are able.  Though our by-laws will not allow general members to vote at our board meetings, your input and suggestions are encouraged and welcomed as our Board discusses PTSA business.  What better way to learn more about who we are and what we do. We do hold a general membership meeting each semester in October and May.
