Reading Week, March 6-8, 2024- we are celebrating the importance of reading in our school. We are excited to have community and district leaders coming out to read to our students!
March 5, 2024- Teacher Workday- no school for students
This is also ELECTION Day
We will have district testing (NC Check-ins 2.0 B) for grades 3-5, March 6-12, 2024
Wednesday, March 6- Reading Check-ins 2.0 (B) Grades 3-5
Friday, March 8- Math Check-ins 2.0 (B) Grades 3-5
Monday, March 11- Science Check-ins 2.0 (B) Grade 5 only
Please make sure your child is in attendance during the days of testing.
March 8, 2024- Final meeting for NC Outer Banks trips for 4th and 5th graders; this meeting will be held at a PGE from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm in the media center. A Google Meet link will also be shared. Parent chaperones and parents with students attending the trip should be in attendance.
The upcoming ABSS Kindergarten Registration Fair @ Holly Hill Mall will be on Saturday, March 9 from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm.
We’re Going on A Field Trip!
March 13-15, 2024- 4th and 5th grade students will be traveling the the NC Outer Banks and many of its historical attractions.
Thursday, March 28, 2024 PGE Field Day!
Parents, we need your help! We need water! We want to make sure our students stay hydrated on this day, if you would like to donate a package of bottled water (small bottles preferred) please drop them off in the front office.
March 29-April 5, 2024
No school for students; the building will also be closed.
