  • PBIS Celebrations for this week (Field Trips): Only for students that met the PBIS requirements for the 3rd Qtr:

  • Apr 18, 2023- Kindergarten will be visiting Greensboro Children's Museum; students will leave campus by 9:00 am and return by 2:15; permission slips were sent out before the spring break and should be returned by April 18 (before leaving campus).

  • Apr 18, 2023- First Grade will be visiting Chestnut Ridge Camp & Retreat in Elfand, NC. Students will leave campus by 8:00 am and return by 2:15; permission slips were sent out before the spring break and should be returned by April 18 (before leaving campus).  Students will be outside for the majority of the day please make sure they dress appropriately!

  • Apr 19, 2023- Fourth Grade will be visiting the NC Museum of Natural Science in Durham; students will leave campus by 9:00 am and return by 2:15; permission slips will be given to the eligible students on Monday, April 17, and will need to be returned by April 19 (before leaving campus).

  • Apr 20, 2023- Second Grade will be visiting the Greensboro Science Center; students will leave campus by 9:00 am and return by 2:15; permission slips will be given to the eligible students on Monday, April 17, and will need to be returned by April 20 (before leaving campus).

Parents, please remind students that all PGE student behavior expectations should be followed; negative behavior could result in administrator consequences upon returning to school.  Students will also have school-bagged lunches, however, they are welcome to bring their own lunch.

  • April 17, will be the last day to purchase yearbooks online; the cost is $20.  If you have any questions please contact our front office.

  • We will have our annual Books and BBQ event on April 26 from 5:00 -7:00 pm here at PGE! Families, please join us for dinner, catered by Hursey’s BBQ of Burlington while you receive information about the EOY testing, testing strategies, benefits of reading, and our PGE EOY events! We hope to see you all there!

  • 2023-2024 Kindergarten Open House will be May 4 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm; parents will have the opportunity to learn how to register their child for kindergarten, meet with our staff and visit kindergarten classrooms.  Our school nurse will also be available to answer any questions.  Parents will also be able to get information about:
