At Hawfields, we take learning beyond classroom walls! 23 8th grade students enrolled in the Leadworthy Course, taught by Mrs. Westbrook and supported by counselor Mr. Westbrook and principal Greg Hook, spent the day on low and high ropes at Camp Weaver. Fear of heights- conquered! New heights in leadership skills and team building- scored! It was an amazing experience for these kids.

Hawfields Middle School celebrated students who were chosen for their "self-direct" skills. Self-directed learners identify the resources needed to learn and be successful, while developing their own strategies for doing so. Congratulations! 🥳️ #StudentCenteredFutureFocused
