DOT DAY was this past Sunday and it is a day where we celebrate art and all the times we tried something we didn’t think we could do. It is inspired by the book written by Peter H Reynolds “The Dot". Thank you Ms. Bellamy inspiring our students to create this beautiful art!

This Summer's theme is "All about Chocolate!" Today, Ms. Isley's class participated in a chocolate-tasting activity. Each student sampled different chocolate bars and then graphed their results.
Last night, our 4th and 5th grade students danced the night away at our Sneaker Ball Prom! We were thrilled to crown our Hornet King and Queen, selected for consistently exhibiting the Leader in Me Habits throughout the year. #PromTime #LeaderInMe

Our students had a blast playing fun games at Field Day! From relay races to tug-of-war, smiles and laughter filled the day. A big thank you to Coach Lent and his team for making this day unforgettable!
Congratulations to the amazing 4th-5th grade IV League students at Hillcrest Elementary!
They recently celebrated with a special ceremony. This year, 18 students completed the IV League club, learning about various healthcare careers and gaining hands-on experience through interactive sessions with professionals like chiropractors, physical therapists, nurses, EMTs, dental hygienists, and physician assistants. 🏥
🌟 A special shout-out to the 5th grade graduates who have completed two years of the program: Kylee, Annabelle, Ashley, Ainhara, Areli, Brissa, Jeice, and Cristofer. They each received a stethoscope in addition to their certificate of completion.
These students have worked hard, exploring the different systems of the human body, practicing essential skills like taking blood pressure and pulse, and even assisting with vision screenings and dental exams. 🩺
The IV League club has provided these students with invaluable opportunities to learn, grow, and envision their future in healthcare careers. Thanks to the generous support of Glenn Raven for this celebration and encouraging these students to pursue their dreams! Also, a huge thank you to Hillcrest nurse Deana Green for leading the club and nurturing these students' interests in healthcare!
