Hello! I am the school social worker at Cummings High. I started working at CHS in 2009 and I am excited to work with our students and parents. As the social worker, I am the liaison connecting students and their families with the school, home and the community. Whatever is happening with a student and his/her family affects the student at school. Please let me know your needs so I can help your child be successful at school. I can connect you to community resources if I know what you need. I am also the Child, Family, Support Team leader at the school. Our motto is One Family, One Team, One Plan. My office hours are 8-4 every day. I enjoy meeting the students and parents, so please feel free to call, text or visit me.

I have a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and a bachelor's degree from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. I have lived in Maryland, Alabama, and Georgia. I moved to NC in 1990 and love this state. I enjoy reading and am in 2 book
