Great News! CHS will offer summer school & credit recovery starting tomorrow, June 18-26 from 8-12. We are closed on Fridays. Students will bring their own lunch, snacks & their own transportation. Students who may attend will receive an invitation in their emails.

We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2024 at their Graduation ceremony today! Seniors need to arrive at the ACC Hall of Champions between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. Doors to the Fieldhouse will open at 8:00 a.m. Congratulations, Class of 2024!

It's almost time to celebrate the Class of 2024! For those of you coming to Graduation on Saturday, please be aware of the following: --- Everyone must have their own ticket; age does not matter. Seniors will receive 15 at the end of rehearsal on Friday. --- Numerous other events are happening at the Coliseum Complex; please arrive with plenty of time to find parking. --- Doors will open at 8:00 a.m.; they will close at 8:50 a.m. to clear the aisles for the processional and re-open once all seniors have been seated. --- Event staff will be doing security checks; please make sure you do not have any prohibited items.

Drum Roll Please . . . A number you have been waiting on! The Class of 2024 will receive FIFTEEN tickets! They will be distributed at the end of rehearsal on Friday, June 7. Seniors should arrive in the auditorium between 9:00 and 9:25 a.m. They must attend the entire practice.

Join your favorite staff at Red Robin tonight, Thursday, May 30, 2024. The school will receive 20% of your check. This fundraiser will help fund student celebrations next year! What a great way to have some good food and support Cummings!

When a student has completed all exams, he/she needs to return their Chromebook. They can return it to their 4th block teacher or to the person who administers their state exam. Please make sure to return your charger, too! This should be done by noon on Friday, June 7.

The stage is ready . . . we'll start the ceremony at 9:00 a.m.

We will be celebrating the Class of 2024 tomorrow! A. All cappers should arrive by 8:25 a.m. and line up with their senior. B. The auditorium doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for other guests. C. Seating is limited; we hope to live stream if we can get technology to cooperate.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Star Staff & Star Student of the Month. Ms. Burns is described as organized, professional, compassionate and consistent. Evelyn is a student that is dedicated with a high work ethic while overcoming any obstacle.

At the conclusion of Teacher Appreciation week some of our Juniors and Seniors hung out with some of our most treasured students to help them create a card to celebrate their mom for this Mother's Day weekend! Look at those happy faces!! Happy Mother's Day to all our moms!!

We will celebrate the awesome ladies and gentlemen of the Class of 2024 on Friday, May 24th with the Awards and Capping Ceremony in the morning and the Celebration party in the afternoon. As we begin to plan and organize these events, we are reaching out to their friends and family, our alumni, and former Cavalier faculty members to help us host the most amazing events for them.
