We hope everyone had a good week. It was nice to see the weather begin to turn a little warmer and the days are beginning to get just a little longer. While we may have plenty of winter left, spring is certainly a little closer.
I, personally, want to thank all of our students and families for the outpouring of love this week after it was announced that I would be moving to Central Office. I have been humbled by all of the kind words, love, and encouragement. Leaving my home and family at BEJ will not be easy, and I will forever remain a Tiger Cub. My last day at BEJ will be Friday, February 9. The district will send a retired principal to serve as an interim until the position is filled. Mr. Trygar will continue to serve students, staff, and families.
Our ESL department will be hosting an ESL Family Night on Wednesday, January 31 from 5:00 until 6:00. Dinner will be provided. We will also have translators available. Please come join us and learn more about our ESL program and strengthening the home/school connections to support student success.
From February 1 through February 16, BEJ will be hosting a Socks & Soup Drive to support SAFE, our local food pantry, and other neighbors in need.

Families, you can use your PowerSchool Parent Portal to check student attendance, grades, and current lunch balance. If you owe a balance, please send money to the school or use our online payment system.
