BEJ Families,
We had a great week at BEJ. We showed our love of reading by celebrating Book Character Dress Up Day, and we finished the week by exploring nature in our K-2 STEAM classes. The students enjoyed their nature walk outside and worked on describing the things they found in their environment. Our 3-5 students used the engineering design process to design and build a fence to keep the creepy carrots in the garden. This engineering project was based on the book Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds.
We enjoyed seeing students and staff last night at our PTO sponsored Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser. We hope to see more of you at our next PTO event, McTeacher Night, at the McDonalds in Graham on November 20 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
