BEJ Updates Header September 22, 2023

Thank you for another successful week of school.  Our students had a busy week continuing to get to know one another and getting back into the routine of school.

Arrival/Dismissal

We appreciate our families working with us in the mornings to make our drop-off procedures safe for all students.  For the upcoming week, we ask that all parents begin dropping off students in the circular driveway.  We have staff throughout the building to make sure that even our youngest students get to class safely.

We respectfully request that all parents use the car rider circle to pick up students in the afternoon.  Families should not park in the lot and walk in to get students.  Thank you for displaying your car rider tags in the afternoons.  This helps our staff get your child/children safely to the correct cone.

Families, if you need to change your child's transportation, please send a note to your child's teacher or contact the office before 2:00 p.m.

Breakfast/Lunch

Families, breakfast and lunch are no longer free for all students.   If you would like for your child/children to eat school lunch, you will need to either put money on their online school account or secure a free lunch status by completing the appropriate paperwork.  We strongly encourage all families to complete a free lunch form.  Paper copies can be picked up at the school or online applications can be completed at https://www.lunchapplication.com/.  The cost of breakfast this year will be $2.00 per day and lunch will be $3.10 per day.  Families do need to complete a new application each year.

Please remember to check your lunch balances and pay any overdue balances.  If you have any questions, please reach out to the office or cafeteria.

We look forward to seeing all of our Tiger Cubs on Monday morning.
