BEJ Updates Header September 15, 2023

We would like to thank all of our students, staff, and families for a very successful opening week of school.  It was great to finally have everyone back in the building to welcome in a new school year.

Arrival/Dismissal

Next week, we want to focus on getting students into their daily routines.  In order to help with that, we ask that all parents drop off and pick up their child/children in the front circle.  We will have extra staff available to make sure all students get to their classrooms safely.  You may begin dropping off students at 7:30 each morning, and all students should be in their classrooms ready to learn by 7:50.

Families, we need your help in ensuring that we can safely and efficiently get students in and out of cars.  Parents, in the mornings, please have your child seated on the right-hand side of the vehicle.  This prevents them from having to walk in front of any cars when exiting.  Also, please remain in line once your child has exited the vehicle.  Attempting to pass the vehicle in front of you puts our students and staff at risk.

Afternoon dismissal will begin at approximately 2:40.  Thank you for displaying your white car rider tag in the afternoon.  We use the three-digit code to notify teachers to send the student to the front for dismissal.  When these numbers are not displayed, it slows down the dismissal process for everyone.  Please remain in your car throughout dismissal.  If you need to buckle your child into a safety seat, please pull into the bus lot to buckle them in.  We appreciate your cooperation and help in our effort to keep everyone safe.

Families, thank you again for a wonderful opening of school.  We couldn't have done it without you.  Have a great evening.  We look forward to seeing all of our Tiger Cubs on Monday morning.
