Happy Friday. We hope everyone enjoyed a productive week. The weather has been beautiful the past few days, and the students loved being able to get outside and play. As the weather turns warmer, please be mindful of our school dress code, which I have copied below.
School attire should be comfortable, age appropriate and functional. All students should dress neatly and clean each day. Clothes worn by students should not interfere with the learning process in any way. Students should dress so that their clothes do not present health or safety problems, and/or cause a distraction.
- Tank tops must have straps at least three fingers wide. No spaghetti straps, halter tops or, strapless tops.
- Shorts, dresses, skirts or skorts are to reach the fingertips when students’ arms are at their sides.
- Muscle shirts, bare midriffs, or sagging pants will not be permitted.
- Hats and other forms of headgear are prohibited unless it is a designated hat day.
- Skate shoes or shoes with cleats should not be worn at school.
- Socks and tennis shoes/sneakers are required on PE days.
- A staff member may call home for delivery of proper attire for students who are inappropriately dressed.
