Tree-mendous savings! 🌳 ABSS will continue to use Peachjar 🍑 to deliver school and community flyers straight to your email inbox. Look for those every Tuesday and Friday, with the occasional flyer in between. If you have an active email set up in PowerSchool for your child, you're good to go for the new school year, including any new schools you may be enrolled in. All flyers can also be found on district and school websites. Look for the 🍑 button. If you're a community organization looking to advertise an event or service on Peachjar, read our approval guidelines on our webpage: https://www.abss.k12.nc.us/page/peachjar-for-families

ABSS has cut a whopping $7 million from its Central Services budget in an effort to be more financially prudent. We took to the airwaves this morning to encourage the Alamance County Commissioners to reconsider the possibility of cutting the District’s funding. The result could force ABSS to make even more cuts including reducing staff positions at the school level and even eliminating beloved programs like the arts and music. The Commissioners will meet tonight to discuss. #StudentCenteredFutureFocused
