We are holding Mock Interviews for Ms. Currie's Career Management classes next Thursday, December 12th so we are looking for volunteers to act as interviewers for the students. If you volunteer, you will have between 4 and 8 students to interview. Each interview should last a maximum of 10 minutes. You will have a list of questions to choose from, or you may use the information they share in the interview to ask related questions. You will be "grading them" on dress, professionalism, communication, body language during an interview, their responses to your questions, and their resume. If you can't make it on the 12th we will have a few students who need to complete make-ups on the 19th, but our greatest need is on the 12th. Please complete the Google Form found here to volunteer - https://forms.gle/TvWFF6Z66jjuWKCU8 If you have any questions, please email Rhonda_Farmer@abss.k12.nc.us

The Hugh M. Cummings High School Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration was a huge success! Last Friday, their Media Center was filled with vibrant colors, culture, and information! Students showcased projects on famous Hispanic figures, while the Chika Cavs 💃 wowed participants with traditional dance performances. Visitors enjoyed fun games and many proudly displayed their Hispanic heritage through colorful face-painting of flags 🎨. Classes rotated in throughout the day, ensuring everyone had a chance to participate and learn! A big thank you to the Cummings World Languages/ESL department for organizing this amazing event, and to everyone who participated.
