Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Alamance-Burlington School’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Life Planning Services are now from Health Advocate and are now offered through Health Advocate, provided by Colonial Life, the district's life insurance provider. The Employee Assistance Program offers a confidential service aimed at delivering evaluations, referrals, and counseling services to all eligible employees and their household dependents.  

Covered services include: 

  • Up to 3 face-to-face sessions per issue

  • Unlimited phone support

  • Online Chat

The coverage includes the following areas:

  • Stress, anxiety, and depression

  • Substance dependency/addiction

  • Grief and loss

  • Special needs services

You can also obtain more information on the following resources:

  • Child care, camps, and after-school care

  • Identity theft resources

  • Retirement planning (Not TSERS NC Retirement)

  • Staying healthy
